Anna Lacher passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at the age of 88 years, beloved wife of John Lacher of Medicine Hat.  She also leaves to cherish her memory five children Albert (Janice) Lacher, Anthony (Linda) Lacher, Theresa (Tom) Lacher-Lynch, Andrew (Paula) Lacher and Barbara (Dave) Schibler; her grandchildren and great grandchildren Melanie (James) Cochrane (Ella and Max), Laurie (Steve) Rausch (Gavin and Leah), Brad (Kim) Lacher (Barrett, Mickey, Margo), Michelle (Brent) McLean (Jaxson and Emmitt), Chris Lacher, Jamie (Keegan) Getz (Maleyah and Hayden), Adam (Bailey) Lacher (Koe), Jordan (Reina) Schibler (Hana), Austin (Morgan) Schibler.  Anna was a member of a large family with ten sisters and two brothers as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  Anna was born on April 2, 1936, at Fox Valley, Saskatchewan and was raised on the family farm at Fox Valley.  She graduated from Teacher College in Moose Jaw and taught in a country school near Fox Valley until she married John in 1957.  Together they farmed and in 1966, they moved to Medicine Hat but continued to farm, finally retiring in 2000.  She spent her later years at home enjoying her garden, cooking and canning.

The funeral mass will be celebrated in HOLY FAMILY PARISH (1451 Strachan Road SE) on Monday, December 23, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. with Fr.
