Obituary
Blake Leslie Garrett of Medicine Hat, passed away on suddenly on Tuesday May 16, 2023, at the age of 27 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, sister, nephews, grandmother, grandfather, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by grandfather Wayne Garrett, grandmother, Brandy Felske and great grandmother Lillian Watkins. Blake was born on May 12, 1996, at the Medicine Hat Hospital and was raised in Redcliff until the age of 12 when he and his dad Kyle moved to Vulcan. Blake finished his schooling in Vulcan and graduated in 2014. He then attended Red Deer College and studied science. After college Blake moved back to Medicine Hat. As a young boy he enjoyed playing soccer and riding his bike around town. In his adult life, he enjoyed playing cards with is Grandma and Great Grandma. He also enjoyed spending time with his nephews and volunteering at the Root Cellar Wellness Hub where he felt he was making a difference. A private interment service will take place a Redcliff Cemetery with Life Celebrant Pat Grisonich officiating.
