On October 15, 1935, Caroline was born on the family farm near Fox Valley, Saskatchewan where she was raised. At the age of 15, Caroline left home to attend high school in Prelate, before continuing her education at Moose Jaw's Teachers College. Upon graduating, she began her career as a teacher, working at various one-room schools. Caroline married the love of her life, Aloise Bosch, and they built a life together. Caroline continued teaching even while caring for their first child. With the birth of their second child, Caroline and the family moved to the Bosch Homestead where they farmed grain and cattle with two of Aloise’s brothers. In 1965, they relocated to a farm outside Fox Valley, where they expanded their operations to include ranching and raised seven children. In the early 2000’s Caroline and Aloise moved to Medicine Hat to retire. Throughout her life, Caroline was known for her boundless energy and diverse interests. She loved sports, music, and a variety of crafts and hobbies, including sewing, crocheting, cross-stitch, and ceramics. A kind and dedicated wife and mother, she always made sure there was plenty of delicious food to share, especially when hosting family and friends. Strong in her faith, Carol was a member of Holy Family Parish and the Catholic Women’s League. The family would like to thank the staff at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital and the staff at Masterpiece Retirement Home for the excellent care she received.
