Christina Monica (Kurtz) Lorentz

Christina Monica Lorentz passed away on November 11, 2024, at the age of 91 years, beloved wife of the late Joseph B. Lorentz of Medicine Hat. She leaves to cherish her memory her three sons, Garry (Jane) and their children Brad (Nauda), Nicole (Kevin) and their daughter Olivia, all of Calgary; Darryl (Dixie) of Medicine Hat; Ivan (Jackie) and their children, Ryan (Meagan) and Katelyn (Darcy), all of Calgary; four sisters, Rose Lesmeister of Medicine Hat, Barb Mocan of Regina, Saskatchewan, Yvonne Bitz of Valleyview, Marlene Hopfauf of Regina as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Elizabeth Kurtz (1989) and George Kurtz (1996); brother Donald Kurtz (2015); four brothers-in-law, John Mocan (1979), Leonard Lesmeister (1980), Tony Hopfauf (2018), and John Bitz (2021).

The funeral mass will be celebrated in HOLY FAMILY PARISH (1451 Strachan Road SE) on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. with Fr.  A private interment will take place on Thursday, November 21, 2024.
