Donald Taylor

Donald “Donny” David Taylor of Medicine Hat passed away after a lengthy illness on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at the age of 50 years.  He leaves to cherish is memory his daughter, Rosalie Willson-Taylor; and sister, Carey Merton.  He was predeceased by his parents, Carol Lawrence and David Taylor.  Donny had a passion for any activity that involved the outdoors. Donny enjoyed building and tinkering in the yard, a good backyard fire with family and friends, as well as fishing and riding his harley motorcycle near and far.  The last six and a half years, the main love of his life was his beautiful daughter “Rosie”.  He was at his happiest spending  his days watching her play and learn.  Donny cherished being a father, a brother, a cousin, nephew, uncle, and friend!   He will be missed greatly!  The funeral service  will be held at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTRE on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with Life Celebrant, David Townsend officiating following the Medicine Hat Santa Claus Fund Toy Run.  The service will be live streamed.  Those who wish to attend virtually, please visit pattisonfuneralhome.com and select live streaming, then select the youtube (arrow). Family and friends are invited to join the family at the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede Grounds after the service.  Interment will follow at a later date .  Those who wish to remember Donny may do so with a toy donation to the Medicine Hat Santa Claus Fund, a box will be located at the Pattison Funeral Home; or a cash or e-transfer donation to A.J.’s Loan Cupboard.   Service is available to preview.  Please see below .
