Ethel Mary Pugsley

Ethel Mary Pugsley of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of 41 years of the late Leo Pugsley, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at the age of 85 years.  She leaves to cherish her memory, 6 children, Shez Pugsley (Hento) Makinson (Larry), David Hubley (Connie), Steven Hubley (Margrett), Robert Hubley (Pam) and James Waller (Karmelle); 15 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Ethel lived with her daughter and best friend, Shez, Shez’s husband, Larry and his mom, Annie.  Ethel loved the time she spent involved with Brownies, Girl Guides and Rangers back in Manitoba in the 1970's.  She entered many pie and jam making contests at the local fairs and stampedes in Grandview, Manitoba and here in Medicine Hat.  She was a very generous and kind soul.  Ethel was greatly loved by her family and friends and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at 346 3rd St. NW. Medicine Hat.
