Evan Eremenko, beloved husband of Jenna Le-Anne Threinen and loving father of Jackson, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at the age of 36 years. He also leaves to cherish his memory his parents Les and Sandra Eremenko; his siblings Layne Eremenko, Carli Eremenko and Bobbi Eremenko (Lena); grandmother Eleanor Moch, aunts, uncles and cousins Barry and Joanne Eremenko (Colton, Carter, Saddler), Shannon and Doug Furgeson (Darby, Chelsey, Shayla), Shain Moch (Brandon,Terrence), Shelly and Darcy Poncsak (Shawn, Jenna). He was predeceased by his grandparents Paul and Susie Eremenko and Russell Moch. Evan was born on December 1, 1988, in Medicine Hat to the proud parents of Les and Sandra Eremenko. He attended school in Maple Creek. During Evan’s academic career, he received recognition for his volunteer efforts as well as his recreational activities such as track and field and football, graduating from Maple Creek Composite in 2007. Evan spent many years as a ranch hand on the family ranch, working along side his parents. Evan met Jenna Threinen in 2019 and they moved to Medicine Hat shortly after. He began working at Global Fusion Coatings in the position of quality control. In 2022, he became a devoted father to Jackson. Evan enjoyed spending quality time with his son and Jenna by going camping or going on weekend adventures. Evan could often be found at the family ranch working with his parents or visiting family and enjoyed getting together with his friends. Many hours were spent on his dirt biking or his Harley Davidson. Evan’s interests included fire arms, mechanics and welding outside of the many hours he spent with his animals. Evan was known to be kind, supportive and empathetic to those he met and crossed paths with in life.
A celebration of Evan’s life will take place on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTRE with Life Celebrant David Townsend officiating.
