Flora “Jean” Fisher, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at the age of 91 years.  Jean was born on April 28, 1934, to William and Rosamund Ivany in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Jean went to school in St. John’s and later attended business school. Jean has two daughter, Judy and Linda. The family moved to London, Ontario in 1964, where Jean worked for an insurance company and later at the university of Western Ontario in the faculty of law for twenty-five years. Upon retirement, she moved to Vancouver Island and subsequently to Medicine Hat in 2002, to be closer to her grandchildren and watch them grow. Her grandchildren Chase, Shanelle and CJ adored their grandma as do her great grandchildren, Adoniah, Elikai, Tevel, Jairus and baby Martens.

A private family service will take place later this month.  

Cremation has been entrusted to the Pattison Funeral Home and Crematorium.
