Fredrick Theodore Hausauer, of Redcliff, Alberta, beloved husband of the late Marina Hausauer, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2025, at the age of 70 years, surrounded by family and friends, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Fred leaves to cherish his memory his two daughter, Javan Hausauer and Kendell Hausauer; his two cherished grandsons, Tyne Miller and Trystin Miller who were the light of his life; his sister, Colleen Martin; his niece, Gina (Chris) Walne and their children, Jacob and Emmi; his two nephews, Jared (Marci) Sweet and their children Barrette and Charlee and Brad (Meagan) Martin; his two honourary daughter whom Fred also held close to his heart, Jody (Jesse) Arnold and Bethany (Corey) Podesta, who were like family to him in every way; Marina's parents and her brothers and sisters as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and their families.
Fred was predeceased by his beloved wife and true love, Marina Hausauer, and by his parents, William and Mary Hausauer.
Born in Leader, Saskatchewan, in 1955, Fred grew up on the family farm, where he learned the values of hard work, resilience, and loyalty-qualities that shaped his entire life. He went on to build a respected career as a pipeline inspector, known for his dedication, strong work ethic, and the pride he took in every job. Among his greatest joys was the time he spent working alongside his daughter Javan in the oilfield.
A man of many passions, Fred loved motorcycle riding, barbecuing, gaming, fishing, and, above all, spending precious time with his grandsons. His presence brought laughter, strength, and warmth to everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Fred will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his quiet courage, and his generous spirit. His memory will live on in the stories shared, the lessons he passed down, and the love he gave so freely.
The celebration of life and funeral service details will be shared at a later date.
