Gail Joan Hula (nee Shore) passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026.  

Gail was born to Mike and Lena Shore on April 24, 1942, in Kelvington Saskatchewan, she was the middle child of five.  She grew up on the family farm and attend Hill Peak where she achieved a grade 8 education after which she remained on the farm to help her parents.  After several years she went to Calgary where she was employed at Canada Packers, she worked there for many years.  Her son Shaldon was born in Calgary in 1970; she married Bill Hula several years later.  Gail and Shaldon moved to Medicine Hat where she resided until her passing.  Gail was an avid Bingo player and had a green thumb when it came to gardening.  

Gail was predeceased by her parents, Mike and Lena; her two infant sisters, Edna and Evelyn; her sister, Vangy and her brother, Andy.  

She is survived by her son, Shaldon (Tammy); her five granddaughters, Kali (Dylan), Cassie (Spense), Jennie (Durian), Sammie (Joey) and Dannie, her two grandsons, Corbin and Myles, her three great granddaughters, Natalia, Sophie and Meriah, her two sisters Vivian and Myra and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.  

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
