It is with deepest sorrow we announce the passing of Joel Krause. He was 38 years old.  Born in Medicine Hat, he graduated from Medicine Hat High School where he played Mohawks football. After graduating he worked construction, excelled in the oil field, and completed his journey in the concrete industry.  Joel both worked hard and played hard. He loved his trucks, his motorbikes, the outdoors and his friends and family. Above all, he loved his dog.  Joel will be remembered for his sense of humour, intelligence and the impact he made on everyone who knew him.  He was there for you no matter what it was, whenever you needed him.
Joel is survived by his parents Lorne (Nina) Krause, Renee Krause, his brother Josh (Andrea) Krause, his sister Michelle (Evan) Both and their daughter Nina, his grandparents Chester and Darlene Ulland, aunts and uncles as well as numerous cousins and many friends. Joel was predeceased by his grandparents Dave and Pauline Krause.
