Joyce R Setterlund

Ruby Joyce Setterlund nee Hauck of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Uno Setterlund, passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 89 years. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Wayne (Terry) Hauck; a granddaughter, Kim (Stacey) Hauck; one great granddaughter, Sierra; one grandson, Mike Hauck; her sister, Ann Alderdice; numerous nieces and nephews as well as her best friend Doris. Besides her husband, Joyce was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Helen Laughlin; her two brothers Lloyd and Jim and her sister, Irene. Joyce was born September 19, 1935, in Daysland, Alberta, to Joseph and Helen Laughlin. She worked in retail downtown at the War Surplus, Francines in the Southview Mall, and then later worked for Shoe City in the mall. Joyce loved camping, bowling, Tigers Hockey and family get-together’s. 

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. To honour Joyce’s wishes, flowers are gratefully declined. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff members at South Country village for the excellent care Joyce received.
