Karean Mary Sadler of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late John Sadler, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the age of 82 years. She leaves to cherish her memory four children, Ron (Donna) and their family - Cory (Jess), Kodi (Kara), Brittney, Colby (Nikki), Chris and Johnna; Diane and her family - Scoitt (Priscilla), Chris, Curtis (Bryanna);  Denise (David Nicholson) and their family - Ryan (Kristen), Tyler, and Sean; and Glen and his family Chelsea (Stephen), Cynder-lin (Steven); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; three sisters, her twin Karen Doidge, Bonnie Lawrence and Lois Potoski; one brother, Barry Proznick.  Karean was predeceased by her parents, Julius and Jean Proznick and by two sons, David and Rick whom she loved dearly and never got over such a loss to the family. Karean was born on April 3, 1942 and raised in Wynyard, Saskatchewan. There was always a good game of dice to be had around Mom’s table, her eyes would light up at the word “dice.” Mom loved to fill her her yard with flowers and she would go for a smoke and pluck them to make them plentiful.  Karean was a very good cook. You could find her making scuffles for the grandchildren and she would say “send the kids over, I have scuffles.”  Skinny would like to thank Mom for teaching Diane how to make perogies, bread and cabbage rolls.  When Dad was off in the winter months, Mom taught him how to make bread too, although his speciality was homemade baked beans.  We want to say thank you to a very special person Tim Coehoorn, for being in our family, helping us and guiding us. We love you and are grateful for everything and the person you are.  Good memories were had by all. I know you loved when Mom would reminisce with you. As well, a special thank you to Glen for always being there for Mom, your patience and TLC were invaluable. 

Cremation has been entrusted to the Pattison Funeral Home and Crematorium.
