Karen Joan (Woldum) Hornung

Karen Joan Hornung of Medicine Hat, AB, beloved wife of Ken Hornung, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2024, at the age of 67 years. After a courageous, yet tiresome battle with cancer, she is survived by her two children Allen (Jodi) Hornung (of Calgary, AB) and Lynnette Hornung (of Courtenay, BC); three grandchildren Eben, Otto and Bram Hornung (of Calgary, AB); her brother Ken (Hilda) Woldum (of Bearspaw, AB); and many nieces, nephews, and their families. Karen was predeceased by her parents Heiran and Dorothy Woldum (of Strathmore, AB). 

A private Celebration of Life event honouring Karen’s memory will be held for her family and close friends on Sunday, June 23, 2024.
