It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Keith Elhart, of Regina, Saskatchewan, formerly of Medicine Hat, Alberta. Keith passed away after a lengthy, courageous struggle with lung disease.
Keith is survived by his children from his first marriage: Bobbie (Shawn) Elhart-Palech and Jordon Elhart; loving second wife, Lucille (Wiebe) Elhart, and her children from her previous marriage, Brad (Rhonda) Wiebe and Kelly (April) Wiebe, and her grandchildren, David, Jacob, Isaac, and Emily Wiebe; nephew, Corey Elhart; niece, Nicole (Kevin) (Elhart) Kotsos; great-niece, Emma Kotsos, as well as many cousins and extended relatives.
He was predeceased by his beloved first wife Margaret (Schmidt) Elhart, parents, Alymer “Elmer” and Hilda (Flaig) Elhart and his brother, Dennis Elhart.
Keith had worked in a variety of roles, most extensively in banking, and at CHAT radio advertising sales, retiring in June 2012. Keith had many favourite hobbies, most notably playing the drums for various dance bands in the community, for over 50 years. He also enjoyed camping and travelling. Keith also had deep devotion to his beloved dog Sadie.
A graveside service will be held at the Hillside Cemetery on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. with Life Celebrant, Pat Grisonich officiating. Those who wish to attend please meet at the Hillside Cemetery gates at 12:45 p.m. Following the service for Keith, you are invited to the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTRE for a reception and fellowship with Keith’s family and friends.
Those who wish to remember Keith with a donation, may do so to any of the following causes: Music education, Crohn's disease research, lung disease research, and pet rescue charities. Cremation has been entrusted to the Pattison Funeral Home and Crematorium.
