My love, you went through Heaven’s Gate and became an Angel. Our beloved Lorne Clark Cole, passed away at the South Health Campus in Calgary on March 20, 2023, with his loving wife and family by his side, following a lengthy illness and a courageous battle. Lorne was born in Shaunavon, Saskatchewan on October 1, 1967. He was a journeyman auto mechanic. He loved to tinker with vehicles and do odd jobs like fixing a coffee machine. He enjoyed the challenge of “figuring it out” and succeeded almost every time. He so much loved his quality time with his family and friends - this meant the world to him. Other than his wife, he loved his fur babies “Rocky and Koco” and had a love/hate relationship with our Parott “Tristin”. During our times away from home they were entrusted with our dear friend Randy. Lorne will be missed by all who knew him - close friends to acquaintances. Besides his loving wife Adele, Lorne leaves to cherish his memory his parents Don and Ilene Pettyjohn; two brothers Shane (Shawna) and Joey (Krista); his nieces and nephews, Luke, James, Jordyn (Godchild), Payton, Mathew (Marina), Makayla (Godchild), Maverick, Marshall, Eric (Kali and son Myren), his parents-in-law Tom and Dianne Hammond. He was predeceased by his birth father Clark Cole; one brother Kurt Cole; his grandparents, Walter and Gwen Cole and Frank and Elvira Duke and Marjorie Pettyjohn. Family and friends will gather for the prayer service in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Friday March 31st at 7:00 p.m. led by Fr. Naveed Arif. A celebration of life will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. with Life Celebrant David Townsend officiating.
