Marjorie Margaret Dirk of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Joseph Dirk, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025, at the age of 85 years.  

She leaves to cherish her memory three sons, Miles Dirk, Tracy (Janice) Dirk and Dean Dirk; six grandchildren, Christina (Dave) Dekreek, Ashlee Poppe, Justin (Krystin) Dirk, Quentin Dirk, Brady Dirk and Landon Deelstra; five great grandchildren, Aislynn, Haylee, Kallie, Jack and Nate; one sister, Tillie McBride; two brothers, George Weinberger and Gordon (Gale) Weinberger; one sister-in-law, Diane (Murray) McCartney and numerous nieces and nephews.  Marjorie was predeceased by her beloved husband of 58 years, Joseph Dirk in 2018, her parents, Lee and Barbara Weinberger, her step-mother, Florence Weinberger, her sister, Clara Sehn and two brothers-in-law, Lucas Sehn and Jim McBride.  

Marjorie was a very dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, who always put others before herself. She had a deep appreciation of family and will be remembered for her gifts of hospitality to others. Her legacy is one of love and kindness and she will be profoundly missed but will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.  

A private family service will be held in her honour.
