Melvin Alfred Frey

Melvin Alfred Frey, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024, at the age of 73 years, beloved husband of   Sheila Frey of Maple Creek.  He also leaves to cherish his memory one son Shane Frey (Nicole Martin) of Medicine Hat and his twin brother Alvin (Loretta) Frey of Maple Creek.  He was predeceased by his parents Alfred and Sylvia Frey and his sister Debbie (John) Coderre.  Melvin was born on May 4, 1950 in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan and raised on the family farm at Piapot.  He married Sheila Coderre on September 16, 1977 and seven years later they made Maple Creek their home.  Mel worked at various places including Newki Services, John Deere and South Sask. Services.  The funeral service will be held in the MAPLE CREEK UNITED CHURCH (301 Maple Street) on Friday, March 8, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. (CST) with Rev.
