Obituary

Roy Ries of Medicine Hat, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at the age of 99 years, beloved husband of the late Katherine Ries. He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Mike (Darlene) Ries and Ron (Jean) Ries and his son-in-law Wayne Ulbricht; six grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and one sister Rosemary Schneider. He was predeceased by his daughter Mary Ulbricht in 2020 and by several brothers and sisters. The funeral service will be held in the Pattison Funeral Home & Celebration of Life Centre on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. with Fr. Roque Pereira officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery.
