Sandra Rae Barnard

Sandra Rae Barnard (Krassman), beloved wife of Julian “Barney” Barnard of Medicine Hat, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025, at the age of 73 years.  She also leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Shannon (John) Shumila and stepson, James Barnard; three grandchildren, Nathan and Mathew Shumila, Kaydence Beddome; two sisters, Shirley (Mike) Koch, Penny Krassman; two nieces, Sherry (Phil), Yvonne (Ken) Lentz; one nephew, Jason Koch.   She was predeceased by her parents Valentine and Alma Krassman, and her brother, Gary Krassman.  

On June 1, 1991, Sandra married Barney.  She enjoyed playing darts and before her illness curtailed it, she loved to travel. She finally lost her long, hard fought battle with COPD.

 A private family graveside service will take place.
