Terri Lee Lawrence passed away in Medicine Hat, on June 10, 2025, at the age of 54 years.  She leaves to cherish her memory her children Jessalin (Matt-boyfriend) Lawrence and Weston (Emma-girlfriend) Lawrence; her mother Dianne Tessman, sister Kara Drefs, brother-in-law Donald Drefs, nephew Daniel Drefs, niece Josie (Chris) Kappel, aunt Marlene Harris, uncle Karl Tessman, and numerous cousins.

She was predeceased by her father Erich Tessman and grandparents Joe and Anne Schmaltz, Edmund and Emma Tessman and aunt Darlene Teft.

Terri was born on September 12, 1970, in Medicine Hat.  She attended I.F. Cox and Parkside Junior High School in Redcliff, Medicine Hat High School, then continued her education at the University of Lethbridge earning a dual degree in Marketing and Agriculture.  From the age of 5 to 16 she enjoyed figure skating and loved competing.  Terri was a member of the Wildrose Dancers and competed with her partner Matt in the East Texas Dance competitions allowing her to travel extensively across Canada and the US. Terri was very competitive and loved to challenge herself by working hard to be the best she could be. Her medal and trophy collection shows her success.  Following her university education, she was employed by Cancarb and remained there until her passing.

There was nothing Terri enjoyed more than spending time with her kids. Going to concerts, Tigers’ hockey games, Roughnecks’ lacrosse, road tripping, if her kids were going, so was she. As a unit, they were unstoppable. If they were unavailable for her next adventure, you could bet her best friend Jolaine was ready and willing to step up. Inseparable from the day they met in elementary school, they have had many fun escapades. Terri also loved spending her time cooking, baking, playing online games with her friends, and most of all being with her dogs. Over the years, she had adopted multiple dogs that just needed someone who would love them. She worked hard to give them the love they needed.  

Cremation has been entrusted to the Pattison Funeral Home and Crematorium.
