Rosanna “Theresa” Renner, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025, at the age of 94 years. She was predeceased by her husband and best friend John Renner in 2019, and her son Terry Renner in 1997. She is survived by three sons, Garnet (Jean), Blaine (Deb), and Kurt (Patty Romman); one daughter-in-law, Darlene; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Theresa was one of 11 children born to Frank and Mary Mazzei. She was born in Eston, Saskatchewan, and grew up in McMorran where the family operated a general store. Theresa learned to play piano by ear and often in her nine years of school was asked to play the piano for school functions and continued to play until two weeks before her passing.  Theresa married John on May 18, 1949. As a homemaker she devoted her life to her husband and raising her “four good boys”. Upon John’s retirement they enjoyed traveling by trailer to Arizona, California, and visiting many golf courses. Rumor has it they were reported to have been seen at the odd Casino. After John’s passing, Theresa resided at Meadow Ridge Senior Home for over six years where the staff were like family. She then moved to South Country Village before her passing. The Renner family would like to express appreciation for the excellent care and kindness mom received from staff at both facilities.

A private interment will take place in the Hillside Cemetery.  Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Reception at the MEDICINE HAT GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB on Monday, March 23, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
