Trent passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at the age of 51. Trent is survived by his partner, Teressa Mead Muglia; his only child, Nikkie Jordan (Reed); mom Sheila Chick; one brother, Derrick (Marissa) Jordan; two nieces, Marlee and Lara Jordan and his little sidekick, Sonar. 

Trent was predeceased by his dad, Terry Jordan; grandparents, Basil and Ann Casey, Ann’s first husband, Harry Martin, Marion and Harry Jordan; Uncles, Pat Jordan, Ian Jordan, and Donnie Jordan; and David Chick. 

Trent was born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. The family followed the oil patch all around Alberta, living in several communities, eventually settling in Medicine Hat where Trent graduated high school. As a child, Trent excelled at many sports especially baseball as a pitcher. He was naturally good at any activity he chose to try as a youth and into his adult years. 

Trent worked in many different industries often in leadership roles including hotel and hospitality, machining and compressors, and eventually as a supervisor at Value Village, where he met Teressa. 

Trent was a whiz at puzzles. Family would buy him the most challenging ones possible, and in no time, he’d send a photo of the completed puzzle regardless of how many pieces it was. Trent enjoyed video games and was an avid movie buff watching everything from blockbuster hits to dreadful b-rated movies. 

Many good memories were made during family camping trips, holidays to warm destinations and trail walks in the Hat. Uncle Trent could be found tossing kids in the pool, nicking spoons from the buffet to make sandcastles, walking the trails with his little buddy, Sonar, and bringing snacks for all her friends at the dog park.
