Our family was very impressed with Pattison's Funeral Home in arranging Mom's funeral.

Pickup at Mom's suite in Meadowlands Revera was prompt in arriving but allowed as much time as we needed to comprehend our loss. There was no rush in removing Mom's body and when we were ready for transfer Mom was handled with reverence & respect by David Cannon.

When making funeral plans later Greg was empathetic, considerate and so helpful in guiding us through the process. Our input and personal requests were honored while still offering suggestions or other options to consider. We were all very pleased with how Mom looked at the viewing. Her hair and makeup was exactly how she wore it and it was the most restful she looked in the past year. Mom's appearance was always important to her and therefore it mattered to us too.

Shelly and her team at the front desk produced a very fitting program plus phoning us and keeping on track with our tasks.
For that we will be eternally grateful since we were definitely not running at full capacity.

The graveside service was well managed too. Greg organized the pallbearers and once again led us through the heartbreaking procedure with much more grace and dignity than we would have otherwise managed.

And the actual service was exactly what Mom wanted. Each and every request and expectation was exceeded by Greg and his team! It was once again meticulously organized and all participants were made aware of the sequence of the service and their part in it so that it ran smoothly.

We were questioned on lunch preferences and also offered the name of a caterer to use if we hadn't made other plans. We chose to use Greg's suggested caterer and were offered two different menu choices. Either one would have been above average but the one we chose was so amazing that we are still receiving positive comments. We were impressed that Pattison's remodeled venue is inclusive and flowed fluidly to meet all of our needs in one facility for both the service and the luncheon.

The after care offered by David Cannon was instrumental in dealing with the various and tedious business details that must be handled after the fact. He provided a list of names and corresponding numbers of contacts most essential in travelling this painful journey.

In conclusion each one of us siblings felt that during this final chapter Pattison's provided thoughtful and caring attention to us and to Mom. Our needs were treated with the utmost importance.

Everyone at Pattison’s was kind, compassionate and extremely helpful when our Mom passed away. Many members of our family were involved in the process, both in person, by phone and email and the staff took this all in stride and organized and processed all the information for us.
The “Checklist For Survivors” was an excellent resource.
We highly recommended Pattison Funeral Home to anyone.

Our family has gone to Pattison Funeral Home for all of our family needs and every time they have exceeded their professionalism. They are always kind, caring, compassionate and become a part of the family with their help and more.
Most recently with the loss of my uncle they have proven again to be there for us when we needed them in many ways.
From the moment you walk through the door you are greeted with kindness from Shelly to the helpfulness of Chris Martin, David Cannon and Jillian Martinson make a emotional, hard time for a family easier to deal with.
David Townsend was professional, kind and sympathetic in planning the service and making it one I am sure my uncle would have been proud of.
When dealing with a loss of a loved one, it is comforting to know that there are people who genuinely care and make the loss a little easier to deal with.
The smallest acts of kindness make the biggest impact and the wonderful staff at Pattison Funeral Home did this and more.

My Family has used the services of Pattison's for many years and we have always been so well cared for in our time of need. (Thank you Derek & Greg Martin) Most recently, Dave Cannon/Chris Jong helped guide me through the loss and grieving process of a loved one. The preplanning was so helpful, and when we needed to go through the final arrangements the process and most of details were already managed. I was so thankful for how smoothly and professional all things went. At a time when emotions are high and things need to be accomplished, I am so glad I had Dave to call on. Highest regards to this exemplary team for maintaining the best service.

I came in to preplan and then when she passed, I appreciated people listening to my stories! You kept me and mum's family separate and I am sure that was awkward for you but helped both my aunt and myself. Shelly made a point of thanking me for allowing my aunt to see mum, which helped me heal a little bit.

We, the family of Patricia Cooke, would like thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers after the recent loss of our mom. The cards, flowers, donations in memory of mom, and gifts of food were greatly appreciated. Our thanks also to the staff of Pattison’s for their help in making a difficult job easier, to Stan Sakamoto and his staff for the wonderful reception, Mike and the staff at Caring Hearts for their care in the past few years while mom was still in her own home; Drs Jeraj and Malmberg for their tender loving care, and again to the Meadow Ridge family for making mom’s last few months in her “resort home” a peaceful experience. We extend our sincere thank you to everyone who celebrated the life of our dad, Grandpa and Great Grandpa.

We appreciate all the expressions of sympathy and kind gestures shown to us. Our heartfelt thank you to family, friends and neighbors who phoned, travelled, sent floral tributes, cards, messages of condolences and food and made charitable donations. We are truly grateful.

A special thank you to the Wellington Retirement Residence staff for the care provided to our dad over the past year. As well, thanks to the nurses and staff of 5 East and especially 5 West for the care and kindness not only for Dad but also for our family in Dad's last days. Dr Jonker, Dr Monty and Dr Kruger provided the best care for Dad and support for him and our family.

Dad was able to remain in his own home in Richmound, Saskatchewan until he was 96 because of the support from his family, friends and neighbors. For this, we feel more gratitude than we can ever express.

To Fr. Francis Appiah-Kubi, to the musicians and choir, to the Richmound Lions Club for providing an Honour Guard, to St Mary's Church, Richmound, Saskatchewan for the coffee and goodies after the Prayers, to the Richmound Lions Club for the luncheon after the funeral Mass and to our children and grandchildren for participating in the Prayers and funeral Mass, our deepest gratitude. Thank you to Pattison Funeral Home for their thoughtful and professional handling of the funeral arrangements.

So many people helped our family in our loss. To thank each person individually is impossible but know that we acknowledge you with our sincere gratitude. May God bless all of you.

Carolina Iannattone “Nonna Carolina” Since the passing of our dear Nonna Carolina, we have been very touched by the many acts of kindness that so many have extended to our family; each unique in its own way and a reflection of the love held for her. These gestures fortified Nonna’s three children (Gino, Nina and Beni) and their families, helping us through this time of sorrow. We will always remember the Funeral Mass at Holy Family Parish and the Homily in which Father Iqbal Khurshid conveyed: that Nonna Carolina was part of the Holy Family Community; that she was devoted to her faith and family; and that she had a genuine willingness to share with others. The kindness of her friends at Pattison Funeral Home whose combination of compassion and professionalism was a true blessing during trying times. It is with heavy hearts that we now prepare to move on with our lives without Nonna Carolina but there is great solace in knowing that she lives in the hearts of so many in our community. Sincerest thanks, Iannattone & Haysom Families
